Mistwood Studio Gallery is located in Ashland, Oregon, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The studio gallery had been a dream of Kathleen's for many years. Prior to this, her business was located in the shadow of Mt. Shasta, from which she created many paintings of Mt. Shasta. The culture of Ashland, Oregon drew Kathleen, particularly the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Lithia Park, situated in the center of Ashland, Oregon, and adjacent to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, is featured in many of Kathleen's paintings of Ashland, Oregon.
